Move & Shake for the Poly Movement Tele-class - Mission Accomplished

Mon, 02/15/2010 - 23:48

Our final fundraiser before Poly Living 2010

The tele-class was a success - we had over 20 eager "Movers & Shakers" on the call,  both willing to listen and contribute their own experiences and thoughts. Here is what was covered during the class:

  • Why I used "Mover and Shaker" do describe what we do rather than "Leader" (even though 'Leader' is NOT a bad word!)
  • 3 easy steps to help you "Move and Shake" in the Poly Movement
  • 4 "Move Blockers" (reasons we procrastinate) and how to overcome them
  • 3 steps that you can take now/ASAP to become better at "Moving, Grooving, and Shaking"

For those that weren't able to attend, here is the link to the podcast recording. In addition, you can use the media player below: One of the "next steps" that I mention at the end of the podcast is taking a questionnaire to help you identify your strengths (your ideal "grooves" - since we're talking about moving, grooving, and shaking), and to also help you get connected with some larger organizations that need volunteers. The questionnaire can be found here. Happy Moving and Shaking, and see you at the upcoming conference and summit!
